Make Your Life Count | The Guardian Nigeria News
GOD is a seasoned businessman and investor. He is not lazy, but works diligently to meet the needs of man. Likewise, the Lord does not want any of His children to be lazy in business, rather He wants each of His children to be serious and focused. A father must make every effort to provide for the needs of his family. It is an obligation bequeathed to man, by God.
A Christian should carefully learn whatever profession he chooses to do. This involves spending quality time learning this trade before settling down. Unfortunately, some people are in a hurry to get into a trade they haven’t learned. In the end, that business or business collapses without a cure. God does not create anyone to be poor in life. Poverty is a choice we make on purpose.
God created every man to be great. Fate, on the other hand, is not in the hands of any man. It is only in the hands of the individual who has the power to choose what he wants to do with his destiny. The secret to prosperity is hard work. No lazy man can prosper. To support prosperity, hard work must be persistent and consistent. Hard work pays and God loves dexterity.
Originally, God created man to work so that he could take care of his home. The Lord created the first man and put him in the Garden of Eden to take care of it. He was supposed to work in the Garden. The work is scriptural because God created it. Therefore, he expects everyone to be thoroughly and engaged in profitable business.
God cannot call or use a lazy man. Moses is an example of a skilful man. He learned the profession of shepherd in Egypt before being called. God saw the skill in him and knew that he would be able to deliver and lead the Israelites to the Promised Land. Moses was not a failure. He demonstrated the attributes of a hardworking man. David is also another biblical example of a young worker. He spent his time in the bush raising his father’s cattle. No wonder he defeated Goliath and delivered the Israelites from the hands of the Philistines.
Men who hide under the pretext that they have lost their jobs and have become lazy, and resort to begging, are not serious people. There is always work to be done even when there is none!
The apostle Paul warned the church in Thessaloniki not to stand still, to do nothing. In fact, he warned that those who are not working should not eat. So Christians should be committed to work. There shouldn’t be a moment of inactivity with a believer. There is no shortcut to prosperity! Hard work is the answer. A diligent man will be known in society. He will sit with kings and not with wicked men. Praying for prosperity without committing one’s hand to anything profitable is a waste of time.
It’s time to gear up and get ready to go. Young Christians should get involved and avoid all forms of evil. A Christian is not meant to be a failure in life because opportunities abound for everyone to be successful.
